It was a day of review, so no new
lessons were taught. I was sad to

My friend in CA and I took an
on-line course together called
"Photo Editing - Frame ups and
Special Effects" put on by Jessica
Sprague. It was a free 2 week course
and we both learned so much! I devoted
all my free time to learning Jessica's lessons
that my friend suggested using the
edited photos from each day for my photo
of the day. I thought that was a great idea.
So for the next 14 days you will see what I
learned each day.

Day 186 - The Switch

Due to receiver problems, I had to switch the
upstairs receiver with the downstairs receiver.
I took a photo so I would remember what went
where.

Day 185 Knee High!

T demonstrated today that the corn was
indeed knee high by the 4th of July!

Off with the old, and on with the new!
For some unknown reason life got
absolutely crazy/boring and I missed
several days in the past week. So, I
decided to just continue on from this date.

Day 175 - Happy Birthday T!

Today he turns 55!

It's made out of 100% cherry wood and is oh
so gorgeous! My friend John would tell me
my bedroom has ghosts in it with the light orbs in
this photo.

She majored in bugs in college
so it was only fitting to make
her a birthday card out of bug
paper.

Day 167 - My Flower Garden

They don't need the sun, they don't need to be
watered and they always look pretty!

Day 166 - The Latest and Greatest

If you are a scrapbook or card maker
you will be interested in knowing about
the latest invention in the craft world.
It's color core paper. While it might
have been out in other parts of the
states we just received it in MN.
Most papers have a white core but
these papers have a complimenting
core to go with the color of the paper.

When I work weekends, I am too tired to
even think of pulling out the camera. So
I'm substituting another photo from the Iris Farm.

The original photo was taken in black and white.
My youngest daughter carefully hand colored
the photo. It is a true labor of love.

Today I am tired, cold, and missing the sun.
This is the most photographic thing I could
find today.The ferns, unlike me, can survive in
all kinds of conditions and they actually
enjoy not having sunshine.

They were so adorable to watch!

A friend sent me a pattern for a gift
box. I assembled it and was surprised
at how small it was! Tomorrow I
will take it to Kinkos and see if it
can be enlarged.

Day 151 - Double the Party!

Today we celebrated the birthdays of my oldest
daughter and her husband. Their birthdays are
just 2 days apart.

Day 150 - Just the start...

I'd love for my youngest daughter to learn how
to play the piano.

Day 149 - Anderson Iris Farm

The farm only had a handful of
flowers that were in bloom but
by next week end, there should
be a field of iris and peonies to
photograph.

Day 148 - What a way to celebrate!!!

It is my daughter's 29th birthday today. To
celebrate we went to the Twins game this
afternoon. Even though the Twins lost,
it was still a fun time.

Day 147 - Another dreary day

It's another cold and dreary day in
MN.

Day 146 - Are they nuts???

Right below the red star is a swimmer.
Now mind you, it's not unusual to see
a swimmer in a pool. However, if you're
in MN and it's only 59 degrees outside,
you start to wonder about the person IN
the pool. What were they thinking???

Day 145 - Memorial Day

Small town U.S.A. My hubby is the man in
uniform in the front of the crowd.

Day 144 - Mini Marathon

A mini marathon was happening just a few miles
from our home.
