Day 151 - Double the Party!

Today we celebrated the birthdays of my oldest
daughter and her husband. Their birthdays are
just 2 days apart.

Day 150 - Just the start...

I'd love for my youngest daughter to learn how
to play the piano.

Day 149 - Anderson Iris Farm

The farm only had a handful of
flowers that were in bloom but
by next week end, there should
be a field of iris and peonies to
photograph.

Day 148 - What a way to celebrate!!!

It is my daughter's 29th birthday today. To
celebrate we went to the Twins game this
afternoon. Even though the Twins lost,
it was still a fun time.

Day 147 - Another dreary day

It's another cold and dreary day in
MN.

Day 146 - Are they nuts???

Right below the red star is a swimmer.
Now mind you, it's not unusual to see
a swimmer in a pool. However, if you're
in MN and it's only 59 degrees outside,
you start to wonder about the person IN
the pool. What were they thinking???

Day 145 - Memorial Day

Small town U.S.A. My hubby is the man in
uniform in the front of the crowd.

Day 144 - Mini Marathon

A mini marathon was happening just a few miles
from our home.

Day 143 - Pasta Day!

Lots of work, but also lots of fun! And this
time we had a few more helpers!

Day 142 - I've been waiting for these

Lilacs are my favorite flower in the
spring and I was anxiously awaiting
for them to bloom.

But the MN weather is not.
BRRRR...it was cold today! And
looking at this pool of water didn't
make the day seem any warmer!

Day 135 - A Delightful Surprise!

I received a wonderful surprise in the mail today!
Like a kid on Christmas morning, I tore open the
package! My friend Kathy, who is the most talented
card maker I have ever known, sent me a thank you card
and a package of thank you cards that I can use - all
created by her! Thank you Kathy! You are truly amazing!!!

to pick up a prescription. I did notice this tree
on my way into the drug store.

more often. I simply wanted to go
to the quilting store, but found myself
in the heart of the preparations for the
fishing opener in MN.

Day 126 - And it's not even the last minute

MD cards are ready to be dropped in the mail
tomorrow. Once again I planned far enough in
advance so I didn't have to play "beat the mailman".

Our lower garage was in serious need of roof repair.

Day 122 - Old Time Baseball

Today we watched my son-in-law
play old time baseball. It's his summer
time hobby and it's always great fun
when so many of our family members
gather around to watch him play.
What a great time!
